Speech Pathology and Audiology services for adults and children including auditory processing assessments.  The Brisbane Speech and Hearing Clinic is long established clinic with experienced and professional staff.

A swallowing disorder is also known as dysphagia.  Difficulty swallowing may cause coughing and choking which can lead to aspiration pneumonia.  

 

Our clinic has Speech Pathologists who are trained to provided Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) examinations.  An MBS is a live x-ray of the patient's swallow which allows the Speech Pathologist to identify which part of the swallow may be weak.  Please contact our clinic on 3252 2383 to speak to our staff further about an MBS.
